Terms of Use

This is an English translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the governing text.
These terms govern your use of Nutri 180: the iOS and Android apps, the web app for nutritionists and the website nutri180.com (the “Service”). The Service is provided by MTCOSMOLABS SAS (“we”), a Uruguayan company, under the Uppercut brand. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. What Nutri 180 is
Nutri 180 is a platform that connects nutritionists with their patients. Nutritionists create meal plans, follow their patients’ progress and manage appointments; patients receive their plans, log their progress and stay in touch with their nutritionist.
Nutri 180 does not provide health services. We are a technology tool. Nutritional advice comes from your nutritionist, an independent professional who is solely responsible for it. The Service does not replace medical care. In an emergency, contact a health service.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older, or use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
- The information you enter must be true and up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.
- Accounts are personal and cannot be transferred.
3. Nutritionists
- You represent that you are licensed to practice in your jurisdiction and that the professional information you publish is accurate [CONFIRM whether licenses are verified].
- You are responsible for the advice you give your patients and for following your profession’s rules, including professional confidentiality.
- You use your patients’ data only to care for them within the Service.
Subscription and payments
- Using the Service as a nutritionist requires a paid subscription, billed in advance on a recurring basis through Mercado Pago [CONFIRM: billing period, free trial, currency].
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no refunds for partial periods unless the law requires them.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. If you disagree, you can cancel before the change applies.
- The Service is free for patients [CONFIRM].
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or to harm other people.
- Post fake or offensive reviews, or reviews that don’t reflect a real experience.
- Access accounts or data that aren’t yours, or try to break the Service’s security.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, except as permitted by law.
5. Your content
What you upload (photos, logs, plans, reviews) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store it, show it to the right people and process it solely to provide the Service. We may remove reviews or content that breach these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, code, trademarks (including “Nutri 180” and “Uppercut”) and our own content belong to MTCOSMOLABS SAS. These terms grant you no rights to them beyond using the Service.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may modify, add or remove features. If we discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable notice and the chance to request a copy of your data.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (how to). We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, notifying you where possible.
9. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for health decisions made based on a nutritionist’s advice, for indirect damages or lost profits, or for failures of third-party services (app stores, payment or infrastructure providers). Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Uruguay’s Consumer Relations Law No. 17.250.
10. Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service afterwards, you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Montevideo, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
